We are a family-owned coffee roasting company based in Beaverton, Oregon, founded in 2017 by Paul Thornton and daughter Rachel Thornton Verhaalen. We focus on wholesale roasting, private-label coffee, and direct-to-consumer sales, serving coffee shops, cafés, bakeries, distributors and home customers.

We are an experienced, professional roasting company built on decades of industry knowledge and expertise in sourcing, roasting, packaging, and dependable wholesale service and support.

Paul Thornton has worked in coffee since 1982 giving him more than 40 years of experience as a Roastmaster and green coffee buyer. He is a former president of the Specialty Coffee Association, a founding member of the Roasters Guild, and has participated in international coffee tasting panels.

Rachel Thornton Verhaalen brings experience in coffee production starting in 2003, retail operations, and Kona coffee farming in Hawaii. Before co-founding the company, she worked in roasting, café management, and coffee production operations.
